What is Walk for Humanity?

Walk for Humanity is a series of sponsored walks held in September and October. Thousands of like-minded people will hit the streets of Manchester, London and Bristol for a fun, family-friendly 10k walk to support people affected by disasters and emergencies around the world.

Right now it's only £5 to sign up (normally £10).

We’re here to support you every step of the way and inspire you to smash your sponsorship target of £150. Check out our fundraising tips.

Need help with fundraising?

We ask that everyone taking part aims to raise £150 or as much as you can. Every pound raised will help us reach people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. You can, of course, raise more. We’ll stay in touch with tips and ideas to maximise your fundraising right up until the event, but why not start your fundraising journey now?

“It was amazing! It was fun. It felt like being part of a very big family, like you would want to see out there in the world. No judgement, no prejudice, like a community of people being there for each other, uniting together in a common cause to make a difference.”

- Tosin talks about being part of Walk for Humanity 2023

How will you make a difference?

Each stride you take through the city will make a difference to people who need it most.

The funds you raise could get life-changing support to people:

  • living through the ongoing conflict in Ukraine
  • whose homes have been hit by floods and storms in the UK
  • who’ve lost everything after the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria
